Kidnap / capture roleplay
Kidnap or capture play — the scene pretends there is no consent; real, reversible consent is still required.
- Why people do it
- A scene that behaves as though there is no consent, inside an arrangement where consent has been carefully established. The fiction of no way out is doing the work, and for people who want that, nothing milder substitutes.
- Smallest way in
- Not early in a relationship. Agree the scenario, the ending, and a safeword that is outside the fiction, then keep the first one short.
- What to watch
- The safeword must be a word nobody would say in character. Agree in advance what is not going to happen, however the scene runs. Debrief afterwards, properly — this is the practice most likely to land differently than expected.
- In the planner
- 6 different things carry this tag, and switching it off removes every one of them. The mildest of them sits at medium.
