Roll After Dark

Costume, roleplay

Costume, a character, or a scene that is not just the physical act.

Why people do it
A character lets people do and say things they would not do as themselves, which is often the entire barrier. The costume is doing psychological work, not decorative work.
Smallest way in
One prop and one line of dialogue. Full scenarios collapse under their own weight the first time; a uniform and a name does not.
What to watch
Agree how the fiction ends before it starts. A safeword has to be outside the story — if "no" is in character, "no" cannot also be the stop signal.
In the planner
25 different things carry this tag, and switching it off removes every one of them. The mildest of them sits at easy.
